Are you confused by the different types of turbo products available? New, Service-Exchange, Factory-Exchange and New-Exchange Here's a brief explanation of each one:
New
Brand-New OE turbocharger, sold outright (with no surcharge). Comes with a 2 year standard warranty.
New-Exchange
Brand-new turbo, but sold with a surcharge for the return of the old core (the turbo price is often discounted vs. the new/outright price).
Service-Exchange
A turbo remanufactured by SCM to OE specification, using OE parts where possible. Sold with a surcharge for the return of the old core. Comes with our 12-month No Quibble Replacement Guarantee.
Factory-Exchange
A turbo remanufactured by the original manufacturer (for example a turbo remanufactured by BorgWarner). Sold with a surcharge for the return of the old core. Comes with a 1 year standard warranty.
